Terms of Use
Last updated 27 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Jakub Radziejewski (“we”) for the Offline app and tryoffline.app. By using Offline, you agree to them. Please read our Privacy policy too.
What Offline is
Offline is a 90-day challenge that uses Apple’s Screen Time on your iPhone: no feed in the first hour after you wake up, none in the last two hours before bed, and a daily limit on the apps you choose (30 minutes, or 15 on Offline Hard).
Offline helps you build a habit. It is not medical, psychological or sleep advice and doesn’t replace a professional. If you are struggling, talk to a doctor or someone you trust.
Who can use it
You need to be at least 13, with an iPhone on iOS 17 or later, and allow Offline to use Screen Time. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
Your membership
- Offline needs a membership. You choose a yearly or a monthly plan; the app shows the price in your currency before you buy.
- You pay through your Apple Account, and Apple’s Media Services Terms apply to the payment.
- Your membership renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price at that time, unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage it in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. If you cancel, you keep Offline until the end of the period you paid for.
- A one-time offer may give you a lower price for your first year. It is shown once, applies to the first year only, and then the regular yearly price applies.
- If we change a price, Apple tells you before it applies, and asks for your agreement where the law requires it.
- Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; we can’t issue them ourselves. Your rights as a consumer under the law, including any right to withdraw, are not affected.
How Screen Time works here
- Offline relies on iOS. iOS puts whole apps to sleep, so while your feed sleeps, everything in that app sleeps with it, including its messages. Choose your feed apps with that in mind.
- On Offline, you can open your feed for one minute; that day won’t count. Offline Hard has no such minute.
- You can always stop: taking away Offline’s Screen Time access in Settings, or deleting the app, ends the scheme.
- If you turn off Screen Time access, change your phone’s clock, or Apple changes how Screen Time works, the scheme may not work as described. We keep up with iOS as well as we can, but can’t promise that every part of Offline works on every device at all times.
What you write
Your answers, your plan and your letter stay on your phone and are yours. We don’t keep a copy, so deleting the app deletes them. See our Privacy policy.
Fair use
Use Offline for yourself. Don’t copy, sell or rent it, take it apart to get its source code, get around how it works, or use it to break the law.
What is ours
Offline, its name, the moon, the app, this site, and their words and images belong to us. We give you a personal licence, which you can’t pass on, to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as Apple’s Usage Rules allow. We may end it if you break these terms.
Changes
Offline will change: we may add, change or remove parts of it. We may also update these terms; if a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it applies. If you keep using Offline after that, the new terms apply. You can stop using Offline at any time.
Our responsibility
We make Offline with care, but provide it “as is”, without promising that it will always be available or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid for Offline in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or your rights as a consumer.
Apple
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for Offline and what is in it.
- Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Offline.
- If Offline fails to meet a warranty that applies, you can tell Apple, and Apple will refund the price you paid for it, if any. As far as the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Offline.
- We, not Apple, handle any claims about Offline or your use of it, including product liability, failing to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer protection or privacy law.
- If someone claims that Offline or your use of it infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, will investigate, defend, settle or resolve that claim.
- You confirm that you are not in a country under a United States government embargo or listed as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and once you accept them, Apple may enforce them against you.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Poland. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in its courts.
